Thanks for visiting our page. We are a new CoS Group based in Taunton Somerset, formed in February 2024. The group includes three local organisations that are involved in assisting refugees and asylum seekers in Somerset, across the South West of England and even internationally.
Member groups are: CHARIS Refugees, Taunton Welcomes Refugees, and Refugee Aid From Taunton
Taunton Place of Sanctuary aims to be a bridge between the local and displaced community, to encourage discussion, to share experiences and to learn from and appreciate different cultures.
We are planning our first activities during Refugee week in June 2024.
